Activities

The Okanagan and Shuswap areas offer many activities for all different types. Within 20 minutes drive you have everything at your finger tips, including mountain biking, horseback riding, wine tours, beaches, golfing, and hiking just to name a few. In the winter the x-country skiing is just 2 minutes down the road at the beautiful Larch Hills ski area. Larch Hills Ski Area

Winter- This beautiful x-country ski area attracts people from across the globe for it's well maintained trails surrounded by cedar forest. They offer both snowshoeing and x-country skiing trails



Summer- These trails in the summer are great for casual mountain biking and horseback riding. The parking lot is equipped with corrals.

Mountain Biking/Hiking

Bring your mountain bike and/or hiking shoes for the many trails in the surrounding area.

- The Larch Hills to Sicamous Traverse trail head is just down the road at Larch Hills ski area or enjoy the beautiful trails at the ski area itself.

- Salmon Arm offers great x-country mountain biking on the South Canoe trails or downhill single track at Rubberhead (20 min away).

-The Enderby Cliffs Provincial Park offers a great hike to a spectacular view of the valley.

Larch Hills Winery

Just minutes away is the beautiful Larch Hills Winery. With it's spectacular views and great wines, it's a great idea for an afternoon visit.

Horseback Riding

Larch Hills ski area and the South Canoe trails in Salmon Arm both have great equestrian trails.

River activities

Go whitewater rafting down the Shuswap river just below Mabel Lake, or tube down the calm flat water in Enderby. Either way the river is a beautiful place to visit in the spring, summer and fall.
